Dr hab. Jacek Potocki has proposed a rail link between Srebrna Góra and Złoty Stok via Ząbkowice Śląskie and Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. The proposed route would run for about 34.5 km, with nearly 24.7 km of track needing reconstruction. It could serve residents as well as visitors. The local news site stresses that this remains a proposal, not an approved investment.

Bridging V4 Universities and Business through Design Thinking (First Event – Wrocław)

WUEB will host the first international workshops of the Bridging V4 Universities and Business through Design Thinking project on 21–23 October. The event will bring universities and businesses together to work on solutions to practical needs. Registration is open until 2 October.
Bankier.pl Finance Forum returns to Wrocław for the third time. Two days of discussions on economic, business and financial security

The third Bankier.pl Finance Forum will take place at WUEB on 23–24 October. The University is co-organising it with Bankier.pl, ARAW and the City of Wrocław. The programme covers economic security, technology finance and household investment decisions. Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga invites business representatives, researchers, students and individual investors to join the discussion.
