WUEB expert: prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Jajuga

An increase in orders does not necessarily justify expanding a business. In comments to XYZ, Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga explains why investment decisions require an assessment of expected returns and risk. He discusses the option of delaying a project until uncertainty falls, and the pressure created by fear of missing out. Investment in new technologies, he argues, also needs to be accompanied by investment in employees’ skills.
