XLII National Scientific Conference named after him. Professor Władysław Bukietyński Methods and Applications of Operational Research MZBO 13-15.10.2024
Dear Sirs,
This year the Department of Econometrics and Operational Research at the Wroclaw University of Economics had the honor of organizing the XLII All-Polish Scientific Conference named after him. Professor Władysław Bukietyński’s “Methods and Applications of Operational Research.” The conference will be held on October 13-15 at the Szarotka Hotel in Zieleniec.
For more than 40 years now, the Conference has provided an important forum for the exchange of ideas and discussions on problems of theory and applications of operations research. The purpose of the Conference is to present the latest scientific developments in the field of mathematical modeling of decision-making problems and to exchange experiences on the possibilities of applying methods and tools of optimization in the broad sense in economics, finance, management and other scientific disciplines. We hope that, as in previous years, young academics will make their presence felt.
On behalf of the organizers, I cordially invite you to come to Zieleniec in October 2024.
Marek Kośny
Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference
Competition for the best paper
In keeping with the long-standing tradition of the MZBO conference, the conference will feature a speaking contest at scientific sessions for interested participants. The purpose of the competition is to select the best paper on. Methods and Applications of Operational Research.
The organizers provide prizes for the winners of the competition.
Each speech participating in the Competition will be evaluated in terms of the level of content, topicality of the issue, innovation of the issue and quality of the presentation.
The formal announcement of the results and presentation of awards to the winners will take place at the conclusion of the conference.
