Wrocław joins an international zero-emission last-mile delivery project / Wrocław tests zero-emission vehicles. Is this the beginning of a clean transport zone?

Wrocław is taking part in the international SHIFT2ZERO project, funded by Horizon Europe, which focuses on zero-emission last-mile delivery. The project includes the development and testing of light electric delivery vehicles and solutions for urban logistics. According to wroclaw.pl, the project is led by Fundació Eurecat and involves 30 partners from 10 countries. Wrocław received EUR 85,000 in funding. The total project budget is almost EUR 10 million. In the WUEB context, another relevant element is Poland’s first shared microhub, operating since June 2025 and developed in partnership between Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, the City of Wrocław and courier companies.
