Professor Krzysztof Jajuga has been elected Chair of the Social Sciences Team at the Council for Scientific Excellence for the 2024–2027 term. The appointment reflects his longstanding academic achievements and leadership within the field of social sciences.

The Council for Scientific Excellence (Rada Doskonałości Naukowej) was established under the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science. Its role is to support the development of the academic community and to uphold the highest standards in scientific activity — standards essential for awarding scientific degrees and the title of professor.
Since replacing the Central Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles in 2021, the Council has brought together representatives from a broad range of disciplines. The current term began on 1 January 2024.
The Social Sciences Team within the Council covers 12 academic disciplines: economics and finance, socio-economic geography, psychology, pedagogy, international relations, sociology, legal sciences, social communication and media, canon law, security studies, political science and public administration, as well as management and quality studies.
Congratulations to Professor Krzysztof Jajuga on this appointment.
