On January 29, 2026, the Senate of the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom awarded Professor Krzysztof Jajuga, Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr. h.c. multi, the title of doctor honoris causa. The distinction was granted as a recognition of his academic achievements, organizational contributions, and long-standing collaboration with the University of Radom. Honoring Professor Jajuga with an honorary doctorate goes beyond the ceremonial meaning: it is a testament to a consistently developed and measurable academic and institutional standing, which translates into educational standards, analytical practice, and the language of debate on finance, risk, and data.
Honorary doctorates awarded to Professor Krzysztof Jajuga:
- Cracow University of Economics – 2012
- WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza – June 21, 2022
- Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom – January 29, 2026
Professor Krzysztof Jajuga is a professor of economic sciences and a faculty member at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. His academic activity encompasses finance, risk management, real estate, new technologies, data analysis, statistics, and econometrics. His publication record includes nearly 500 works in both Polish and English. In terms of academic mentorship, he has supervised 54 doctoral students, including several from abroad.
The value of this distinction is further enhanced by the Professor’s roles in key institutions of the academic and professional community, such as: Chair of the Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Chair of the Social Sciences Section of the Council for Scientific Excellence, and President of CFA Society Poland. These positions are not mere additions to his research work – they are mechanisms for implementing quality: shaping standards, evaluation criteria, methodological language, and best practices in economics and the financial sector.
For the Wrocław University of Economics and Business, this is a clear external signal: the competencies developed at the university are recognized and confirmed within a broader academic and economic ecosystem, and the leaders of these competencies build reputation through solid achievements, mentorship, and institutional responsibility.
