Inter-University Research Grants
Building knowledge through collaboration.
At the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, we actively support academic collaboration by organizing competitive calls for inter-university research grants. The first edition of the SGH–UEW Inter-University Research Grants was launched in 2019 and has since become a recurring initiative.
In 2022, building on that experience, we expanded the concept to include a joint research grant scheme involving five leading economic universities in Poland:
- Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (UEW)
- SGH Warsaw School of Economics
- Cracow University of Economics
- Poznań University of Economics and Business
- University of Economics in Katowice
These grants aim to foster academic partnerships that go beyond institutional boundaries and address shared challenges with interdisciplinary perspectives.
Let’s Collaborate
Join us in shaping a future founded on knowledge and partnership.
We connect global expertise with strong regional roots. We believe that science works best when it transcends borders.
Collaboration and Partnerships
We bridge science with practice. We work with those who strive to change the world.
The Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is more than a university — it is your partner in collaboration:
- We engage with businesses, local governments, public institutions, and civil society organisations to create a space where academic knowledge meets the real needs of the world around us.
- We support companies in making better decisions through data-driven insights.
- We help institutions analyse policies and design change.
- Together with our partners, we co-create solutions in areas such as finance, management, ESG, digital transformation, and social innovation.
- Research collaboration plays a central role at WUEB — we are open to joint scientific projects at both national and international levels.
- We take part in consortia, assist in preparing grant applications, and share access to our research infrastructure and analytical resources.
- We co-design research initiatives, provide expert analyses, develop new methodologies, and test solutions ready to be implemented in practice.
Our teams also deliver commissioned projects, conduct workshops, trainings, debates, and expert consultations. We are actively involved in initiatives that promote knowledge to broader audiences.
WUEB is a hub of knowledge transfer — ready to engage wherever expertise, data, and fresh ideas are needed.
Partnering with WUEB means gaining access to interdisciplinary teams that combine academic excellence with hands-on experience in cross-sector collaboration.
