Wroclaw University of Economics and Business as a Partner in the International NEXTLOGIC Project 

In January 2026, the research and innovation project NEXTLOGIC was officially launched in Belval, Luxembourg, under the Horizon Europe programme. The kick-off meeting brought together representatives of 34 partners from 13 European countries. The four-year project aims to develop innovative solutions in the fields of urban logistics and sustainable mobility. 

The Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is one of the scientific partners of the project. Our university was represented at the meeting by:

Wrocław was also represented by implementation partners: 

  • Representatives of the Wroclaw City Office – Marta Grabowska and Agata Jastrzębska 
  • Representatives of the company VeloHub (WCG sp. z o.o.) – Adam Bilewicz and Artur Jop 

During the two-day meeting, the project objectives, planned activities, the concept of the technology platform, and examples of pilot solutions to be tested in eight European cities – including Wrocław – were presented. 

The NEXTLOGIC project aims to develop practical tools supporting urban mobility management, such as: 

  • The development of a digital co-design and co-creation platform based on Digital Twins (DT), Extended Reality (XR), advanced data collection, analysis, and visualization 
  • Testing specific solutions, such as a mobile micro-hub and policy guidelines for curbside and public space management, urban logistics accessibility, and impact-based decarbonization 

All project activities will be carried out in close cooperation with residents, entrepreneurs, and local authorities. 

The participation of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in the NEXTLOGIC project reflects our commitment to creating innovative solutions for more sustainable and livable cities in Europe.
