The WIR Knowledge Base (WIR: Knowledge – Information – Repository) is the official platform for recording, archiving, and sharing the scientific output of researchers and doctoral students at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.

Since its launch in 2013, the system has been collecting comprehensive data on: scientific publications, research activities and conference participation, involvement in research projects, research datasets, and unpublished scholarly materials.

Our Research – Your Reliable Source

The WIR system supports internal research information management, enabling transparent access to WUEB’s scientific resources for the academic community, research institutions, and external partners.

Data stored in the WIR Knowledge Base is automatically integrated with POL-on, Poland’s national research information system, through the PBN module (Polish Scientific Bibliography). This ensures that WUEB’s research activities are accurately reported and evaluated at the national level.

Importantly, WIR is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR), which guarantees open access to WUEB research outputs and enhances their global visibility in the scientific community.
