The total project cost amounts to \u20ac16,096,814.08, including an EU contribution of \u20ac14,837,694.49. The funding supports EU policy priorities in the areas of climate, energy and mobility (Investment in EU policy priorities).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is coordinated by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/news\/university-of-luxembourg-to-lead-major-eu-project-on-urban-mobility-nextlogic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Luxembourg<\/a><\/strong> and brings together 34 partners from 13 EU countries, including universities, research institutes, cities and technology providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scientific lead for WUEB is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT288795\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maja Kiba-Janiak, DSc, Eng., Associate Professor at WUEB<\/a><\/strong>, an expert in urban logistics and sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-image uagb-block-06ed3a7c wp-block-uagb-image--layout-default wp-block-uagb-image--effect-static wp-block-uagb-image--align-none\"><figure class=\"wp-block-uagb-image__figure\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/badania.uew.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2026\/01\/next-logic-logo-1.webp\" alt=\"Logo next logic Projekt NEXTLOGIC jest finansowany przez Uni\u0119 Europejsk\u0105 w ramach programu Horyzont Europa \u2013 Climate, Energy and Mobility (Grant Agreement No. 101238585).\" class=\"uag-image-42213\" width=\"757\" height=\"152\" title=\"next logic logo\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"img\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>The Wroc\u0142aw pilot and WUEB\u2019s contribution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot implemented in Wroc\u0142aw focuses on last-mile logistics and includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>development of mobile logistics micro-hubs,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integration of deliveries using cargo bikes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>application of digital tools (Digital Twin, XR) to model and test logistics scenarios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot aims to improve delivery efficiency, reduce emissions and congestion, and prepare solutions that can be scaled to other EU cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong><strong>WUEB project team<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT288795\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maja Kiba-Janiak, DSc, Eng., Professor at WUEB<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; scientific lead of the project on behalf of WUEB,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT288588\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Natalia Szozda, DSc, Associate Professor at WUEB<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; innovation and supply chain management,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT289127\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agnieszka Jagoda, DSc, Associate Professor at WUEB<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; stakeholder collaboration and decision-making processes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT289133\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jaros\u0142aw Witkowski, Professor<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; logistics and transport systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT289123\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tomasz Ko\u0142akowski, PhD<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 data analysis and digital tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wir.ue.wroc.pl\/info\/author\/WUT288795\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Krzysztof Nowosielski, PhD.
