Dr in\u017c. Adam Sulich, prof. WUEB and dr in\u017c. Letycja So\u0142oducho-Pelc from Wroc\u0142aw University of Economics and Business are part of a UN-led research team preparing the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) report. The group is analysing how to accelerate the transition towards green and blue economies through evidence-based recommendations for governments and businesses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus on green jobs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A central theme of the team\u2019s work is green jobs<\/strong> \u2014 positions that directly support environmental protection or sustainable resource management. The UN project examines how such roles can drive both ecological progress and employment growth in sectors such as renewable energy, circular economy, and green technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Policy and strategy recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The research analyses how public institutions and enterprises can create conditions that foster a thriving green labour market. Key areas include training programmes, policies promoting sustainable investment, and financial or legislative mechanisms that encourage environmentally responsible business practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building skills for the future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The team emphasises strengthening education and professional skills related to green technologies, helping workers adapt to the demands of modern labour markets.
