Research at WUEB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is a place where the tradition of scientific research meets a modern approach. Our achievements are not only excellent publications and conference speeches, but also extensive international research cooperation or practical studies and patents, supporting the industrial development of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We specialize mainly in the disciplines of economics and finance, management and quality sciences from the field of social sciences, food technology and nutrition from the field of agricultural sciences.       Scientific projects at WUEB<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      WUEB carries out numerous scientific and research projects that have a direct impact on economic and social practice. Our research includes innovative and interdisciplinary approaches that support the development of sciences and translate into real solutions that promote the development of businesses and also improve the quality of life for society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is involved in a wide variety of scientific and research projects, including those funded by the National Science Center and the Ministry of Education and Science, or European programs – including Horizon Europe, the Visegrad Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We cooperate with leading economic universities in Poland and abroad, business partners, combining resources, knowledge and experience in the implementation of projects of high scientific and practical importance. As a result, our research contributes to the creation of new standards and innovative solutions in various sectors of the economy, working towards sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Scientific publications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Our researchers publish about 1,000 papers annually, including articles, monographs, textbooks and conference proceedings. A large proportion of these publications are included in international databases such as the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus, demonstrating the global recognition of our research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      International cooperation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The University actively participates in international research projects, establishing cooperation with universities and scientific institutions around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We have established cooperation with 183 foreign universities, including prestigious Japanese universities. We cooperate with the National Agency for Academic Exchange and are a member of the PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) initiative. In addition, WUEB is an active member of the following international institutions: AACSB, CEEMAN, EUA, PRME, AMBA, EFMD and Santander Universities (program membership).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      All the foreign partnerships formed allow our academics to develop their potential during joint research projects, participation in scholarship programs, including Fullbright and Erasmus +, and participation in international training and conferences. Thus, we continue to strengthen the exchange of knowledge, experience and joint implementation of research at the highest level. All this translates into increasing the prestige and recognition of the university on the international arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Open science<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      WUEB actively supports the idea of open science (Open Science), promoting good publishing practices and striving to make research results available to a wide audience. We believe that transparency and accessibility of knowledge are key to the development of science and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Scientific events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The University regularly organizes conferences, seminars and workshops, both domestically and internationally. They provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between scientists, students and business representatives. We are also regular co-organizers of important industry initiatives, such as the Economic Forum in Karpacz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
