Moreover, researchers use expatriate adaptation models developed some two decades ago (e.g. Black et al., 1991, Taft, 1977). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, the main objective of the study was established to develop and validate the author&#8217;s scale for measuring expatriate adaptation in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development of an appropriate scale for measuring expatriate adaptation will contribute to the development of research in this area and the testing of theories (e.g., person-environment P-E fit (Dawis, Lofquist, 1984) or the U-curve of Oberg (1960)) within the behavioral management research stream (Davis et al., 2013). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The measurement scale used also opens up the possibility of further testing in different areas of specific industries and organizations, including different levels of the management structure<br\/>(e.g. Haak-Saheem et al., 2023). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, a set of &#8220;ready-made&#8221; factors determining the adaptation process in the host country can ensure the success of the mission, and thus the achievement of business (organizational) goals. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column
